In Hardoi, a 34-year-old man named Manikant Dwivedi was arrested for allegedly murdering his 22-year-old niece, Mansi Pandey. The two had been in a relationship, and he killed her after she expressed a desire to marry someone else. Manikant tried to dispose of her body at an under-construction site to hide the crime.
