Yash to bring 1950s and 1970s eras to Toxic

Yash and Nayanthara are teaming up for the first time in the ambitious film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Also featuring Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Shruti Haasan, the movie is set against the backdrop of the drug mafia in a meticulously crafted world between the 1950s and 1970s. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is being shot on a detailed set on the outskirts of Bangalore. Originally set to feature Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film now stars Nayanthara, with Shruti Haasan replacing Sai Pallavi as Yash's love interest. Scheduled for release on April 10, 2025, the teaser has already captured attention with its promise of a compelling narrative.
