Madhya Pradesh High Court declined to exempt two NHAI officials from prosecution over poor road maintenance on NH-7. The officials, I M Siddiqui and M K Jain, faced charges after a motorcyclist was injured in 2013. The court ruled they were not protected by the 'good faith' clause and ordered the trial to proceed.
