Man planning 'lone-wolf' attacks on security force families arrested

The Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) foiled a 'lone-wolf attack' by arresting 34-year-old Faizan Sheikh in Khandwa on Thursday. Linked to Indian Mujahideen (IM), Faizan aimed to emulate terrorists like Yasin Bhatkal. He was booked under UAPA, with a pistol, bullets, mobile phones, and extremist literature seized. ATS IG Ashish Sharma stated Faizan had contact with illegal arms dealers and propagated radical ideologies online. Digital devices with terrorist content were confiscated. In recent years, ATS has arrested 55 terror suspects from various extremist organizations.
