India, Russia eye Rs 10k crore N-fuel deal, local production

India and Russia have worked on a Rs 10,500 crore deal for the supply of nuclear fuel to Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant units 3 and 4. The agreement covers initial and subsequent fuel loads from 2025 to 2033. New Delhi may form a joint venture with Rosatom to produce nuclear fuel in India.
