Governor suspends Nagpur University VC again on same charges
Maharashtra governor Ramesh Bais suspended Nagpur University VC Subhash Chaudhari for the second time over civil work and MKCL contract issues, unprecedented in the state. The high court quashed the first suspension on March 14 citing procedural lapses. A retired judge will lead a new inquiry under 'Uniform Statute 2023'. Chaudhari claims the show-cause notice is unlawful.
