After 46 yrs, team breaks open Puri ‘ratna bhandar’; no snakes found

An 11-member team led by Arabinda Padhee commenced inventory and restoration at Puri Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandar. They transferred valuables to a strongroom as locks were broken due to missing keys. Police and CCTV ensure security. The 1978 inventory was incomplete. Chief minister Mohan Majhi highlighted this as part of BJP's agenda. ASI continues restoration.
